Yunus C. Kurtbay O.D. Dr. Kurtbay is a graduate of University of California, Berkeley Optometry school. He is a board certified therapeutic optometrist in the treatment of infectious eye diseases. Dr. Kurtbay also has Bachelor of Arts in Microbiology and Immunology and Bachelor of Science in Vision Sciences both from University of California, Berkeley where he did research projects in corneal eye conditions, cell biology and developmental neurobiology. He is an active board member of San Francisco Optometry Society, member of American Optometry Association, and California Optometric Association.
Dr. Kurtbay is also able to diagnose and treat: Ocular and visual consequences of diabetes and hypertension. Corneal surface disease and dry eyes. Allergies and infectious diseases of the eye Traumatic and recurrent corneal or conjunctival abrasions, erosions, some ulcers, and foreign bodies removal. Eyelid margin inflammation and trichiasis, including, blepharitis, meibomian gland dysfunction, and chalazia.
RebeccaRebecca has been an optician for 25 years. She specializes in frame styling. She is well informed in the current styles and colors and will be able to find the perfect frame for you. She is also knowledgeable in insurance plans and can explain your insurance coverage in understandable terms. Rebecca can also recommend the best lens options for your specific needs.
RonRon has been an optician for 18 years. He is very knowledgeable about ophthalmic lenses and eyeglasses. He's our vision insurance expert and can answer any of your questions regarding your insurance. He will share his experience when helping you select the best frames and lenses for your needs. If you need any adjustments or repairs for your glasses, Ron is also the best person to help you.
CarrieCarrie has over 15 years in the field, she has extensive knowledge and was a frame buyer at her previous employer. She's up to date with the current fashions in eye wear and can assist you with classic to modern and fun styles to suit your needs.
AnnaAnna is one of our ophthalmic technicians. She completed her undergraduate studies from University of California at Davis.

QuyenQuyen is our newest addition to the practice. She previously worked as an ophthalmic technician in the past. She's also adapt with helping individuals finding the right frame and lenses to fits your individual needs.
MochiMochi is our official office mascot. He has been with the practice for four years now. He has no training in eyewear and lens selection but he will offer you kisses all day.
