
Optometrist
Dr. Kurtbay is a graduate of University of California, Berkeley Optometry school. He is a board-certified therapeutic optometrist in the treatment of infectious eye diseases and an expert in optical lenses and frames.
Dr. Kurtbay also has Bachelor Degrees in Microbiology, Immunology, and Vision Sciences from U.C Berkeley where he did research projects in corneal eye conditions, cell biology, and developmental neurobiology.
He was an active board member of the San Francisco Optometric Society and is a current member of the San Francisco Optometric Society (SFOS), the California Optometric Association (COA), and the American Optometric Association (AOA). Dr. Kurtbay is fluent in English and Turkish.

Optometrist
Dr. Timur Kurtbay, OD is an optometrist born and raised in San Francisco. Having grown up in his family’s practice, he has many years of training in opticianry before becoming an optometrist.
He graduated from San Francisco State with the highest honor of Summa Cum Laude in Biology with a subspecialty of Physiology in 2019. He then worked with Dr. Yunus Kurtbay in the family practice for one year until attending Arizona College of Optometry (AZCOPT) in fall 2020.
At AZCOPT he received Clinician of the Quarter in his third year of training and has experience at the Community Health Center in Arroyo Grande, Indian Health Services in Arizona, private practice, and many subspecialty clinics at AZCOPT: Corneal, Vision Therapy, Retina, and Dry Eye specialties. He is a current member of the San Francisco Optometric Society (SFOS), the California Optometric Association (COA), and the American Optometric Association (AOA).

Rebecca, otherwise known as “the glasses whisperer”, has been an optician for over 30 years. She has extensive knowledge in fashion trends and is sure to find the best frames for you. She is also able to optimize and explain your insurance coverage in ways that are easy to understand.

Noah is our eyewear specialist and has extensive knowledge about our frames, lenses, and latest styles. He is personable, approachable, and eager to help you find glasses that fit your everyday needs "with a little pizzazz". He takes time to listen and offer honest recommendations so you leave with something you truly love. Noah can also help you maximize your insurance benefits

Optical Assistant
Elizabeth has experience in an optical setting and is knowledgeable about contact lenses. She is great at working with both individuals and families.
